The Union Lodge No.19 Canadian Charge Team, led by Junior Warden Mario Bolaños, Sr., will perform the Canadian Charge for the next class of Master Masons at Great Kills Lodge No. 912 on Staten Island, NY. This event will take place on Thursday, March 26, 2009 at the Tottenville Masonic Temple which is located at 236 Main Street, Staten Island, NY 10307

The team performed the Canadian Charge at Union Lodge’s last Master Mason degree on December 5, 2008. Team Leader Mario Bolaños, Sr. and team members Gordie Barrett and Scott Arnold (who are the current Senior Warden and Junior Deacon, respectively) were pleased by the kind reception of this beautiful piece of ritual. Less than a week later, Bro. Barrett extended an offer, on behalf of the team, to the officers of Great Kills Lodge No. 912 to perform the same at their next Master Mason degree. This offer was warmly received by our New York brethren.

On behalf of the Canadian Charge team, we’d like to invite our New Jersey brethren to travel to Staten Island to see the Master Mason degree performed by the Officers and Past Masters of Great Kills Lodge. It will be a treat to see the differences and similarities of New York ritual. It will be an honor for the team to perform the Canadian Charge as a part of this degree.

Please join us if you can! If you plan to attend this event, R.S.V.P. to this website or to any member of the Union Lodge Canadian Charge Team prior to Monday, March 16, 2009 so we can let our host know how many visitors to expect.

If you have not attended Union Lodge with any of the team members, please do so by March 16 so we can vouch for you in New York.
